Profile of BPIEM graduates is to become managers of Islamic Educational Institutions who are professional, honest, master information technology and have an entrepreneurial spirit:

As one of the departments in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, the KI Department is faced with the challenge of self-religion with the Minister of Religion Regulation (PMA No.36 of 2009) concerning the Determination of the Field of Science and Academic Degrees in Higher Environments. Islam, so that the Department of Islamic Education changed to the Islamic Education Management Study Program. Responding to this policy, in accordance with the directives and instructions from the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, the Head of the Department of Islamic Education (Dr. Badrudin, M.Ag.) held consultations with the Head of the Academic Sub-Directorate of the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia on This Monday, March 12, 2012 regarding the plan to develop the KI Department into the Islamic Education Management Department/Study Program. The Ministry of Religion should immediately respond to PMA Number 36 of 2009. The process that was penetrated by Tarbiyah and Teacher Training was to immediately hold a senate meeting on Thursday, March 22, 2012. The senate meeting of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN approved the plan to change the KI department/Prodi to MPI. Then the Development Team prepared documents and submitted changes to the MPI KI majors through the FTK dean to the Chancellor of UIN SGD Bandung. The Chancellor of UIN SGD Bandung then continued the proposal for the document to the Ministry of Religion through the Director General of Islamic Education. This Islamic Education Management Study Program was conducted based on the Decree (SK) of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 625 of 2012, dated May 31, 2012. After the establishment of the MPI Department, the MPI Department/Prodi prepares people to complete the accreditation requirements of BAN-PT. then BAN PT issued a Decision Letter on the Accreditation Results of the Islamic Education Management Study Program FTK UIN SGD Bandung with No. 093/SK/BNA-PT/ Akred/S/III/2014 which places the MPI Department/Study Program FTK UIN SGD Bandung getting an A Accreditation score from BAN PT valid for five years from September 21, 2013 to September 21, 2018.

As a new study program, the Islamic Education Management S1 Study Program has prepared all the necessary institutions and infrastructure for the implementation of the study program including curriculum formulation. The formulation of the first MPI FTK UIN SGD Bandung curriculum was carried out on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Then it was developed with the development of a curriculum development workshop for the Islamic Education Management Study Program FTK Sun Gunung Djati Bandung. To improve the quality of education in the Islamic Education Management Study Program, another workshop and curriculum refinement was held on May 14, 2013, so as to produce an adequate curriculum.
